The Pu Dong area of Shanghai was just rice paddies a few year ago and is now the new skyline of the city. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower at height of 1550 feet is easy to identify.
The new buildings of Pu Dong come in many shapes but only one size, extra tall.
Fog and heavy overcast prevented clear views of the buildings but new skyline on Shanghai could be seen as our cruise ship sailed down river from Shanghai in the evening.
