We pulled into Hong Kong harbor in the morning and the weather was beautiful. A sand storm with hot weather had hit Hong Kong before our arrival but it was clear and in the 60’s to low 70’s today. One of the most poplar sightseeing attractions in Hong Kong is the view from The Peak. There are several ways to get to The Peak, we took the number 15 bus near the Star Ferry dock (Hong Kong).
The number 15 bus takes you through downtown Hong Kong where you see both double-decker buses and trolleys.
Some fast food shops believe in truth in naming.
The number 15 bus gives you great view of the city and a thrill ride as it climbs narrow, twisting roads on its way to the Peak.
The view from the Peak is worth the effort.
There are many street vendors at the Peak.

The Peak tram arriving.
We made our return trip from the Peak using the tram. The tram was quick but not as interesting as the number 15 bus.
At the bottom of the tram railway we got on a “Hop-on-Hop-off” double-decker bus. The streets were very narrow and you had to be careful not to put your arm out of the bus. Note the message on H1N1 and H5N1 on the side of the bus.
There was lots of construction in Hong Kong and this construction site had a flowered fence around the site and baskets of flowers on each post.

Each night at 8:00PM a multimedia light show, The Symphony of Lights, is presented using 40 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbor.
